It includes traditional casino games and sports betting. Some of the types of games available include slots, bingo, poker, and roulette. Gambling may also involve selling chances.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Communications Commission is responsible for regulating communications facilities. It can revoke or stop a facility if it is used for illegal activities. In addition, the Travel Act prohibits unlawful gambling on interstate commerce. If you are caught, you may be fined or imprisoned.<\/p>\n<p>In December 2002, the Office of the General Accounting Office (GAO) released a report on Internet gambling. The report discusses issues and potential solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Among the federal statutes implicated by illegal internet gambling are the Wire Act, the Illegal Gambling Business Act, and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) provisions. A federal criminal case is pending against K23 Group Financial Services.<\/p>\n<p>As technology has evolved, so has the gambling industry. While many forms of gambling remain popular, the games themselves have become more creative. One of the most popular is sports betting. People bet on the outcome of a sporting event, the number of points scored, or the total number of goals scored. This is a more convenient way to enjoy the action of a sports game.<\/p>\n<p>However, the commercial nature of the gambling business raises questions about the authority of the government to regulate the industry.
